This strain is a transgenic line expressing a CAG-promotor-driven, cytoplasm-localized förster (or fluorescence) resonance energy transfer (FRET) biosensor for monitoring PKA kinase activity in combination with lox-tdKeima. For clearer observations, the strain has been produced by C57BL/6 with albino and hairless mutations. |
