| Strain description |
As part of the creation of a library of mouse models for intractable kidney diseases, this strain was created as a knockout mice for Lrp5, one of the genes associated with polycystic kidney disease. The Exons　2 and 3 of the Lrp5 gene were deleted from the genome of the strain by genome editing with gRNAs targeting Introns 1 and 4. |
