| Strain description |
As part of the creation of a library of mouse models for intractable kidney diseases, this strain was created as a knockout mice for Pkhd1, one of the genes associated with polycystic kidney disease. The Exon 3 of the Pkhd1 gene was deleted from the genome of the strain by genome editing with gRNAs targeting Introns 2 and 3. |
